Usually the answer is one lonely option. A single flavor that's been sitting off to the side since Tuesday. Take it or leave it.
We don't do it that way.
A real gluten-free menu that changes every day
At Savannah Scone Company, gluten-free isn't one item we keep around to check a box. It's a dedicated menu of its own, and it changes every single day. Sweet and savory. Baker's choice. Bite-sized "bits" for when you want a little of everything.
Because our whole bakeshop menu rotates, the gluten-free lineup rotates right along with it, so there's almost always a new flavor waiting to bring you back. Our gluten-free regulars don't get bored. That's the whole idea.
The surest way to see what's gluten-free today is to check the menu before you head in. It moves as the day's bakes change.
Yes, it actually tastes like a scone
Here's the part people don't believe until they bite in.
Gluten-free baking is genuinely hard. Done carelessly, you get something dry and crumbly that reminds you of exactly what you're missing. So we didn't just swap in a bag of flour and cross our fingers. We tested until we landed on a gluten-free flour blend that holds the same tender texture as the scones we're known for, the real-butter, real-cream kind.
The goal was simple: a gluten-free scone that doesn't taste like a compromise. We think we got there. We'd like you to be the judge.

Where and when to find us
You'll find gluten-free fresh every day at both of our Savannah spots, until we sell out:
- Downtown Coffee Shop & Scone Shop: 31 West Congress Street, in the heart of the historic district. Pour-over or scone-in-hand, it's your downtown coffee shop for a gluten-free morning. Weekdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Hours can shift, so a quick check before you go never hurts.)
- Midtown Bakeshop: 713 East 65th Street, our original spot, where everything's baked by hand each morning. Weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., plus Saturday mornings 8 a.m. to noon.
Can't make it in? We ship nationwide through Goldbelly, and we deliver locally around Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Bluffton, and Hilton Head.
