Two locations in Savannah, GA

A little flour, a lot of heart

Our Story

The Beginning

It started in a home kitchen. Sara Graham began baking scones in The Landings. She started by hosting a trusted group of friends and acquaintances around her kitchen table as an impromptu test kitchen. They quickly became her first regulars. Word traveled the way it does in Savannah: slowly at first, then all at once.

The recipes were simple and stubborn about quality. Real butter. Real cream. Ingredients sourced as close to home as possible. No commercial mixers. Every scone shaped by hand, every single morning. That was the rule from day one, and it still is.

The Move to 65th Street

When demand outgrew the home kitchen, Sara moved into a commercial space on 65th Street in the Medical Arts District. That midtown bakeshop became Savannah's dedicated home for handcrafted scones. It was also where the scuffin was born: scone dough baked in a muffin tin and filled with something wonderful. Sara made it up. Savannah took to it fast.

Regulars started showing up before the door opened. Folks like Mr. Tony and Mrs. Sandra became part of the fabric of the place. They did not just buy scones. They came back because it felt like theirs.

A New Chapter

In 2025, Beth Copic, after a career that spanned several industries and continents, found her way to Savannah and to SSC. When the opportunity came to carry forward what Sara had built, Beth did not hesitate.

The mission has not changed. The butter is still real. The cream is still real. The scones are still shaped by hand every morning. Beth is building on the tradition Sara started, honoring the recipes and the regulars while bringing her own energy to the next chapter.

Goldbelly and Beyond

Not everyone can make it to Savannah, and we understand. That is why we ship nationwide through Goldbelly, bringing a taste of our bakeshop to doorsteps across the country. Whether it is a gift for someone you love or a treat for yourself, a box of our scones is the next best thing to walking through the door.

From Sara's rolling pin to Beth's hands, from a cottage kitchen to two Savannah locations, one thing has never changed: we bake with care, we serve with warmth, and we believe every morning deserves something made from scratch.

Bless Your Heart… You Need a Scone!
