Savannah Scone Company bakes gluten-free scones every day at its Midtown Bakeshop at 713 E 65th Street in Savannah, Georgia. Gluten-free scones are baked fresh each morning and available at both locations: the Midtown Bakeshop and the Downtown Coffee Shop & Scone Shop at 31 W Congress Street. Flavors rotate, and the current gluten-free lineup is posted on the weekly menu every Sunday.
And yes, y'all, we mean it: every day we are open. Gluten-free here is not a Tuesday-only experiment. It is part of the morning bake, every day we are open.
What gluten-free flavors to expect
Gluten-free flavors rotate weekly rather than following a fixed list. Past favorites include Lemon Blueberry, Birthday Cake, and Very Berry, and the rotation draws from the same 200+ flavor library as the classic menu, so sweet and savory options both come around. How our gluten-free scones are made
Our gluten-free scones are made with a custom blend of stone-ground gluten-free grain and bean flours, developed through extensive testing so the taste and texture match our traditional scones as closely as possible. They are handmade in small batches and baked fresh every morning, the same as everything else that comes out of the kitchen.
We are not a dedicated gluten-free facility, and we believe in being straightforward about that. Our gluten-free page explains exactly how we handle preparation, and our allergen notice lists every ingredient family in our kitchen.
